My Dearest Froyo

Did you think that this post was going to be about froyo? It's not. Promise. I've moved on.

Not really, but I understand that not everyone wants to talk about froyo all day. Sigh.

Anyway.

I had a dream last night. We were on our second honeymoon for our one year anniversary. It was aaaaaaamazing. The weather was perfect, the beach was divine, my swimsuit was hot pink, my stomach was flat, my sexy hubby was with me, and there was delicious froyo food everywhere. (Like how I threw that one in there? Gotcha!) ; )

I woke up from my dream just drooling over a vacation. Right now, I'd take anywhere. I got online to look at the Sandals Negril resort that we are going to for our trip, but then I realized that I have looked at those pictures obsessively one million times. I started googling (Yes, Blogger, that is a word) other resorts and stumbled onto this little gem in Bora Bora. Perfect for a beautiful Friday. Enjoy.

All pictures via

Yes, that is a glass bottom floor that y'all see. (Ignore creepy man swimming underneath.)

What do y'all think? Awesome or scary? I'm not sure that I could walk/sleep on a glass floor. I'd be worried about it breaking...or about said creepy man swimming up to take a peek. Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely give it a try though! : ) Who wants to loan me $1000 a night for it? I'll only stay 5 or 6 nights. Maybe 7.

Love, love!

I've always said that Bora Bora is top of my list for the honeymoon. I'm not so sure about that glass floor though- I don't think I could sleep! And for real- I'm SO jealous about your FREE second honeymoon. That resort y'all are going to is absolutely divine!

omg how creepy if a man swam under your floor lol Though I think I would just crack up laughing!

I'll split the thousand with you if you take me! We can stay in one of those bungalows, swim all day, drink margaritas all night, and wait for creepy men to swim beneath us so we can make silly faces for him

or I'll loan you the money for you and your hubba and then just live vicariously, jealously, through you 2 of how bad I also want to go on vacation...why must you tease us like this Miss Mackey! :)

xoxox happy weekend cutiepie!

This makes me want a vacation more than usual!

I think the glass floor might be a little creepy, maybe if it wasn't in the bedroom lol

I have always wanted to go to Bora Bora or anywhere else in the French polynesian islands, they are beautiful! But i would also need to start saving for about 10 years to get there :) Hope you have a great weekend!

Bora Bora is definitely on my dream vacation list -- soooo gorgeous!! Maybe one day!! Happy Friday :)

You will be relived to know that I am SO for it if you want to talk about fro-yo everyday. As long as I have a small frozen yog in a cup with strawberrys and TONS of chocolate in my hand as I read. It is amazing. End of story.

That vaca looks so amazing as I sit uncomfortably at my computer in my little green cubicle. Counting down the hours until 5 pm.

In my next life I better come back as a rich and fabulous blogger who lives PERMANTLY in a beautiful fantasy vaca place like the pictures above….. and there better be lots of paparazzi swimming under the floor trying their best to snap my picture.

Oh I cant wait :)

I dream about a big vacation again like our honeymoon buuuut we're saving for a downpayment on a home and I don't see vacation like this coming for years and years. The pictures are lovely though. Gorgeous blue water, sky and sand - Yes, please.

Aside from the floor, it's perfect!

I think you should take some froyo with you, but we won't get into that topic again. ;) Haha.

Oh, I would love it! Although, it wouldn't be my top pick for a place to visit. We're not really beach people. SHOCKER I know. :)

doesn't this look like the place from couple's retreat!?

Oh and I am 95% sure that Kathy Griffin stayed here on My Life On the D List. (oh did i mention that used to be my favorite show?)

Maybe you can win a trip there! but isn't Bora Bora ridic far away??!

Your fro-yo blogging is akin to my Sun Drop blogging. (I think I'm getting some diet sun drop!!!!!!!)

Beautiful. Makes me want to go back to Mexico RIGHT NOW! Tahiti was our first pick for our honeymoon, but then we found out December is their tsunami season, and well yeah, we decided Mexico was a safer location. ;)

My friend went to Bora-bora for her honeymoon, and her pics look very much like that! Ever since then I've been dying to go there!
Besides, what's a 1000 dollars a night? We can just eat ramen every night for, um, 4 years.

If that is the place where Couples Retreat was filmed my childhood bff just got back from honeymooning there for 2 weeks. She said it was absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny they spent. I wish we could afford it, someday maybe!

Bora Bora would be amazing, the pictures all sell it for me, until the last picture! It's the glass floor...it just freaks me out so much!

Sara said...

Bora Bora looks so special! It's on our dream travel list too. We are considering going back to Jamaica, Couples Swept Away for a second honeymoon (we went there 3 years ago) ...Just not in October. We had a similar experience... we were in St. Lucia for our honeymoon at the end of October 2010 and were hit by Hurricane Tomas... it was a disaster (literally) so we'll be crossing our fingers for Honeymoon Two.

Jenni Austria Germany said...

ok that looks UNREAL. i have to go there....glass floor or no glass floor, i'm down.

Heather said...

Bora Bora sounds fabulous and sooooo relaxing!

Melissa Jo said...

So I'm totally obessed with Bora Bora and would love to go there someday! Those little huts (without the creepy guy in the glass floor) just call to me as my 'ultimate vacation.'!

Holly said...

Ok I have to comment on this now, since I saw it on Twitter!

My family went to Bora Bora and stayed somewhere that had one of those floors (actually I think it was the coffee table) and I may or may not have an even creepier photo of myself swimming underneath it and looking up into the room! It was amusing, though the photo is extremely unflattering, and therefore will probably never be blogged!

I also may or may not have contemplated swimming up under other peoples rooms, just to try and frighten them. LOL! :P
