Super horrible confession: it has been at least two weeks since I have cooked.
It's true. We have been living off sandwiches, fast food, chips and salsa, and desserts. Here's my excuse...I have been working SO much, like five 12 hour shifts a week, and I just can't face the grocery store or the kitchen. But hey, all that is changing this week and the husband is doing his happy dance. : ) He doesn't really have a happy dance, but he would be doing it if he had one.
Here's what's on our menu for this week:
- Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
- Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti
- Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken
- Taco Pizza
- Crock Pot Chicken Tacos
And y'all know there is always a dessert over here!
- Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats
- Smores Treats
- Cinnamon Roll Cake (I made this last week and it was DELICIOUS! So we are having it again!)
Seriously, menu planning is SO much easier now that I have my friend Pinterest.
What are y'all eating this week? Anyone been a major slacker like me? Anyone?? ; )
Love, love!
PS: Happy Halloween! Be safe!!

looks all so yummy! i need to cook more too ;) thank goodness for pinterest that can help solve those problems with a click of a button!
I really need to start going to bed earlier, BEFORE I see amazing photos of food on your blog and then decide that I want to bake/cook at 12am.
Seriously. Especially cream cheese spaghetti. I have never heard of that before, but I can't see how it could NOT be amazing. :O
Haha, I plan my meals every week, but sometimes I am just too tired to cook. And I am totally stealing some of those recipes, because they sound delish. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm a good cook (learned from my mom and grandmother and have some of my mother-in-law's recipes too), so if there's ever anything you want to make and you want an easy recipe, don't hesitate to ask. My goal is to make yummy things as quickly and easily as possible! :)
check back on my blog later this week, once I get one more follower, I'm having a giveaway you *may* be interested in!
Delish! Everything on here looks so good - especially that baked cream cheese spaghetti!
If I was hubby, I would be happy too :)
xoxo

Oh yummy... your menu plan looks pretty tasty to me! We've been slacking in our household this week too. Yesterday we had a cookie and a chocolate croissant and mocha ice storms at Nordstrom, and then we ate pumpkin pancakes for dinner. We both ended up starving at about 8pm.... so we snacked on some hummus and pretzels haha. #mealplanfail
Eventually I think we'll get a crock pot. Can't wait to hear how everything turns out. (:
Oh man... I think I just got some delicious ideas from this pics!

Hey-- it's been MORE than two weeks since I have cooked. So it's nothing to be ashamed of. It just means we have super busy lives and our priorities lie elsewhere!
However, it really is something that I want to change...I'm going to work on it. I really like the look of that cream cheese baked spaghetti, I may have to try that one.
