Sometimes and Always #3

Sometimes: I wish that I lived up north somewhere because I adore cold weather!

Always: I'm really glad that I don't ever have to shovel any snow.

Sometimes: I wish I was a puppy so I could curl up by the heater and sleep all day.

Always: I like human food too much to be a puppy.

Sometimes: I think about getting up early on my days off so that I can get stuff done.

Always: I end up sleeping in...until at least noon.

Sometimes: I look at the healthy options on a menu when we go out to eat.

Always: I never end up ordering the healthy options. : )

(Question...several people have asked me to make Sometimes & Always a link up. Would y'all be interested in that? Leave me a comment if y'all would link up and I'll definitely consider it!)

Please welcome my sweet sponsor Amy from Oh So Charming!

I look at my bosses dogs lying on the couch on a daily basis and think why can't I be you! ha But, then I think it might (eventually) get really boring.

I love this! I always look at diet options and never order them and also wish I could be a puppy but of course need to be out in the real world so that wouldn't work! HAHAH

P.S. I promise you-snow isn't all that great. It's only pretty at first, then it turns into a slushy mess. :)

I love living up north where the weather gets cold. Wearing boots and sweaters is fun and cozy-plus I love lazy days at home while snow is falling! BUT, driving on black ice and shoveling is NOT fun! It's not too bad if you have a husband though...good thing we do! ;)

I would definetly link up to Sometimes and Always!! I live up in MN, and have never shoveled snow in my life!

Kerri said...

Need cold weather!? Come visit PA. :) We have enough to go around! It's supposed to snow this week too. Although after Christmas, I'm pretty much ready for it to be like it was when I lived in California. Hmmm... somehow it just doesn't work that way!

I always love these posts! A linkup would be fun! I hear ya on the sleeping in bit...it's so hard to wake up when we know its our ONLY day to sleep in! :)

Oh! And is sponsorship $10 a month?!

I would link up!! Feel free to come stay here up in NY for some snow--I usually cant stand it after January, but I could really use some right about now. It just feels like Christmas with snow. :D

I love this post you do makes me laugh and I can def relate to everything I so wish I could sleep late but EEK!!! I just cant do it anymore I am up at like 8 I run around the house a couple of times then I take a nap at like 10 and wake up at 12 so that is my version of sleeping late:)

Sarah said...

How can you love the cold weather?! Ah, I can't stand it!! And I'm right there with ya on the healthy food at a restaurant. But hey, at least we actually think about it!

Laura said...

I'd love to link up - I'm new to this whole blogging thing so I'm still working my way around here but I'm up for it!

Gail @ Sophisticated Steps said...

You never fail to make me laugh.

I think a link-up would be fun. Now...if I can find time to participate with my crazy life it would be totally funner!

Do not be alarmed. I'm aware "funner" is not a word. You should know I'm a stickler for grammar...but if it serves the purpose of making something nonsensical, why not? Life's too short to be a stick in the mud. (Now there's an expression you don't hear everyday. You're welcome.)

Can you tell I only got 4 hours of sleep?

I want to sponsor your BLOG!!!

I always let myself eat "bad" at a restaurant, you think you want the cold because you don't have it I bet, AND I think the same thing when I look at my dog sometimes haha

I'd love doing a link-up! I've already thought of some of my "sometimes" and "always" -- ah, how the holidays makes you examine your little idiosyncrasies.

P.S. thanks for the sweet shout out to me =) You're way too awesome and that made my day! =)

Happy Tuesday!

Tami said...

Yes yes yes! You must make this a linkup! I would definitely participate! I love the one about the menu- I do he same thing every single time! :)

Petchie said...

I definitely don't like shoveling too. It seems fun at first but then I get sick of it really fast. I live in PA and I think we are going to get hit pretty hard this year with the snow, despite the fact that its 70 degrees right now!

If you want cold weather you are kind of crazy ;-) We dip to -45 and colder every winter! January and February are excellent months for cuddling! Haha

Faith said...

ahh, add it as a link ... i think this might actually be the first one i do, haha.

and yes, you do not want to shovel snow, nor do you want to eat dog food, haha.

and seriously, healthy food is so overrated ... wish my thighs thought the same thing!

Leslie said...

I always look at the healthy options thinking.. man, I should really order this.. and then order something totally fattening. haha! Love this post!

You know, my Grandma feeds her dog every single thing she eats...so maybe you could be a dog. You just have to make sure you get an owner that gives you human food.. problem solved!!

Although, come to think of it. You don't like the cold and you'd have to do your business, sometimes in the snow..and can you imagine squatting down and touching your bum on that cold snow!! Makes a girl pucker, ya know what I'm sayin??

that would rock if you did a link up...i'm it! :)

Oh gosh. I don't think I could handle shoveling snow either. The couple of times it snows here every year is enough for me. I do like the cold weather though. I always say I'm going to get up early on the weekends. Never happens. Oh well, at least we have good intentions... :)

Ross said...

If you like the cold then where I live is for you, however if you don't like shoveling snow then it isn't the place for you! Seems like all we do is shovel snow, or at least for 5 months of the year.

Liz said...

I want to be one of my own dogs sooo badly!! They have the life!!! I think a link ip would be fun I like reading all your sometimes always posts.

I'll mail you some snow!!

I love your posts like this! I would definitely be interested in doing a linkup! Do it on Thursdays--those are my hardest blogging days! Haha! I love what you said about being a puppy. I feel like they have the best life--but you are right human food has to be so much better!! :)

Annie said...

oh, girl! you can have my place in michigan. i've already had to scrape ice off the windshield and sit in my car for a couple minutes waiting for the defroster to, well, defrost the windshield. thankfully we haven't had any snow yet, which is strange. we usually get our first big snowfall before thanksgiving, and so far it's only snowed twice and nothing stuck. if i didn't already believe in global warming i think i'd be starting to now! haha.

I love this! Sometimes and Always. So cute and brilliant. If you do a link-up, I'm in!
Totally lovin' your blog.
PS enjoy your not-so-cold weather for me! Haha. It's true what they say, the grass is always greener...
Happy Holidays!

I would totally be a dog...and live in a house where people feed me real food! Bam- best of both worlds!

Jamie said...

Ahhh sleeping in is the best!

Holly said...

1) I have never shoveled snow in my life...and I won't be too devastated if I never have to! Although it snowed TWICE here this year, both times enough to close school/uni, so maybe the snowpocalypse is coming...o.O

2) The same is true for me about why I wouldn't REALLY want to be my cat. Whenever I accidentally touch cat food when I feed her, I always go and scrub my hands as soon as I can. No way at all would I want to eat it! Ick!

3) Yay for sleeping in!

4) Yes. This is an excellent balanced diet.
