Sometimes and Always #10

Time to link up for Sometimes and Always! Feel free to join in! : )

Sometimes: I can't think of anything to write in these posts.

Always: I can usually think of some pretty good ones pretty quickly!

Sometimes: I get really sad/lonely when my husband is gone to work.

Always: I love having control of the tv and remote control. : )

Sometimes: I leave clothes in the dryer for days.

Always: Hubby gets mad and ends up folding them. Win.

Sometimes: I really hate talking on the phone.

Always: I screen my calls and wait for people to leave voicemails to see what they need.

Sometimes: I really get frustrated with patients at work.

Always: I remind myself that if God loves them, so can I. But it's still hard.

Sometimes: My husband watches the most boring shows on tv...like hunting.

Always: I like to go and jump on him/block his view when the show is something I don't like.

Thanks to all the beauties who link up with me...I love reading all the posts!

Love, love!

My hubby watches stuff I don't like all the time. Usually it is computer shows, so I'm super bored. the things we do for the men we love ... :)

I almost always screen my calls and wait for voicemails!! If I don't receive one, I'm am very likely to not return, mainly because the voicemail will serve as a reminder and i'm otherwise not a phone person so would prefer to know if I need to schedule a chunk of my day for catch up, if it's a quick question, or if there's a need for me to rush to the ER.

I also tend to leave my clothes in dryer! At least it's not washer and everything gets all moldy!

i get lonely too when hubs is gone but being in control of the remote definitely makes up for it! :)

I'm bad to leave clothes in the dryer for days too. My hubby NEVER folds them though. He usually just gripes long enough about them that I end up doing it myself. I suppose it's a Win for him (ha ha).

I screen my calls too. I swear I'm just not a people person some days!!!!

Enjoy your week :)

sometimes i leave the clothes in the WASHER machine for a day...or two..and then they get the mildew smell and i have to wash them again..#fail

I also screen my calls because I hate talking on the phone! That is so funny you try to block the view of your hubbys boring shows! :)

I do the same thing with my phone calls...unless it is family and I just can't get to the phone. They always leave a message but I never listen to them...I always call them back really quickly and they say "did you get my message?" Haha, no!

The rare times that I'm home from work and hubby isn't-- I LOVE being in control of TV for maybe an hour... then I instantly get lonely and want him to hurry his lil' butt home! Haha :)

Elizabeth and Kyle @ Love Is the Adventure said...

Agreed. Boys have terrible taste in television programs. Kyle has been on a weird Japanese anime kick lately. I cannot even attempt to comprehend.

Omg, I do the same thing with phonecalls! I wish they'd just text me, haha.

You are going to LOVE mine this week! Oh, and I HATE talking on the phone! I'll let it go to voicemail and then text them that "I can't talk" and "what's up?" I feel guilty, but NOT!

I just figured out why I need to get married... someone will in fact take my 3 times dried clothes out!!! ; )

Ha - so true about getting to have the remote to yourself - I haaate it for like 10 minutes when Jurgen's gone, until I realize I can have full control over all of the appliances!

I leave clothes in the dryer for far too long! Folding and putting them away is the worst. I do the same thing when certain people call!

Who doesnt love having control of the remote!?!?

Nicole said...

Haha, so sounds like something I would do... jump in front if it's something I don't like to watch :)

Faith said...

I could leave clothes in the dryer for MONTHS and they'd stay there - you lucky girl!

I usually hate what my hubby watches on tv, so I just blog or do something else on the computer!

Sometimes: I am lonely at home alone in the snow in Seattle
Always: I skype with Meggie to make it all better.

You're hilarious! I am the same way about the phone! I saw a funny pin the other day that said that people like us should change our voicemail greeting to say "please hang up and text me" HA

You need lots of patience to be a nurse! I can only imagine how some people are!

I have been wanting to do a Sometimes and Always for weeks now but I keep forgetting! Until today!

My husband watches hunting too and I want to block his view from it! He did watch The Bachelor with me last night so he gets points for that!!!

SO TRUE about patients at work.
I seriously have to lecture myself in my head and remind myself that this is a spirit son/daughter of God just like me, and God loves this person just like me.

Emily w/Amazing Grapes said...

Ok, so I know (if I ever get your #) to always text you. This is good for future times. ;)

I still can't think of anything beyond my one post. I'm a one post wonder. haha So I commend you.

I get frustrated with people too and I try to remember that...so hard and yet so simple

I loathe talking on the phone too, but the boyfriend loves it. We're seriously going to have to think of a comprimise. haha!

I am SOOOOO the same way with my phone. I always have it near me, but for some reason I'm kind of weird about not wanting to ever answer it! haha! :)

Love this!!! I agree with you about boring boy tv... I usually steal the remote and put it on House wives or House Hunters!

Renee@This Won't Hurt A Bit said...

I want a hubby who will fold my clothes when I leave them in the dryer! Like neeeed one. Clothes in the dryer as we 'speak'. And I too screen calls. Just text me unless it's important! haha.

I always miss my husband when he works 2nd's or 3rd's but it's so nice to have the tv to myself haha! I'm so with you with the laundry and phone calls too!

Having control of the remote is one of the greatest things. The husband here usually goes to sleep pretty late, so he usually watches his shows after I go to sleep. There's no way I'm going to watch Entourage. No way.

And I do the same thing about the drier... But with dishes. I hate putting the dishes away. He usually ends up doing that :)

Impulsive Addict said...

I saw something on pinterest {I think} about changing your voicemail to say "Don't leave a message. Just text me your question". I'm not a phone girl either.

Great pic of you and hubby! =)

Holly said...

Heheh I'm the same as you about not answering my phone, ESPECIALLY if it's a private or unknown number. :P
