Dear husband, I'm really glad that you watched American Idol with me last night, even though you made fun of every single person and talked really loud to where I had to crank the volume up. Dear computer, you have been running really slow lately and I'm worried. Are you feeling okay? Do you have a virus? Dear baked ravioli, thank you for being so utterly delicious last night. We nearly devoured the whole pan. Dear hot pink nail polish, something about you just makes me really really happy. And I love it. Those other colors just don't have the same oomph. Dear brownies in cookie shape, I've never tried you before, but I'm looking forward to debuting you this weekend. Please be delicious. My best friend is coming in and you know how we like to eat. Dear strawberry fanta, can you please stop being so yummy? I don't like drinking my calories. Dear diet coke, we are done. You just don't taste the same anymore. I'm sorry. Thanks for all the good years together.

My best friend is coming in town this weekend and we are headed on a double date tonight. I'm super excited because I've been trying to get her to move here since, oh I don't know, the moment I moved here. : )

Hot pink nail polish is the best! I have a very pretty pale lilac on my nails (called "nice is nice"). Yes, I splurged and got a manicure yesterday. Why not? Right. Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

I'm with you on the pink polish although I'm really loving the blue on my toes right now. I'm thinking a pretty lavender would be great for the Lent/Easter season. Only plans this weekend are LSU baseball games & book club. Have a great weekend with your BFF.

I totally relate to the American Idol thing. My husband can't watch it without making fun of the singer. Same thing when we watch America's next top model. I think it's a husband/guys thing.
Good for you being done with diet coke. The Mr loves it and gave it up for Lent, so I did the same thing in support!

i totally get the American Idol thingy. My husband will be like "who's that guy?" "what is she wearing?" constant criticism where i just pause and wait till he is done and tell him to go away :)

LOVE bright happy colors on nails! Had mine purple last week, thinking of pink this week. Also, I love Idol too and me, my boyfriend, and his mother watched and she and I talked the whole time. I bet we said, "what did they say?" 20 times during that episode... Oops! Cute blog!
