Little Letters

Dear puppies: sometimes I wish that y'all were still this little, except then y'all would be peeing all over and chewing the furniture again, so maybe I like y'all grown up. Dear patients in the ER: please be good to me today. Lifetime kept me up late last night. Dear Lifetime: no more late nights on a work day, please. Dear husband: thank you for cleaning the house top to bottom. You are so good to me. I owe you, but don't get any big ideas. Dear Girl Scout cookies: y'all are evil. Please stop. Dear Lysol wipes: thank y'all for existing and allowing me to wipe down every single thing I can think of. Y'all give me peace of mind. Dear chipped nails: I really appreciate y'all chipping within one day of me taking the time to paint y'all. Now y'all get to stay chipped all weekend. Take. That.

Linking up with the lovely Ashley.

mine chip within hours. seems so unfair.

Aww how cute are the baby puppies!? :O

Also, boo for chipped nails, mine seem to always chip/smear as soon as I paint them too. Drives me nuts.

I hope your ER patients behave themselves, and do not hand you any poop they somehow "caught"! :P

Girl Scout cookies = pure evil. I'm ashamed to admit that I ate an entire box by myself. In one day. Ridiculous, but they're so delicious!

Huge kudos to husband for cleaning the house - sounds like you definitely have a winner on your hands!

We're thinking of getting a puppy - I've been going through pet withdrawals ever since I moved here!

That's why I only use the $9 polish! It's expensive, but worth the 5-6 days I get out of it! Do you put on a top coat? That helps, too!!

I'm jealous that your husband cleaned the house!

my nails always seem to chip when i have something going on the night before ha.

hey, i used to do nails at a swanky day spa. here's a couple tips: first, do your nails in the evening, make sure you go over entire nail with polish remover to get any oils/handcream off first. yep, the $9 polish is in fact, better. use a good top coat, then in the morning the next day add another top coat. that should get you a few more days:)

can't have anything to do with the fact that you wash hands like 1 million times a day? can't think why you'd need to when people are handing you cups of...well, nastiness. you crack me up.

These are always so fun to read! Lifetime is soooo addictive. Once you start watching you just cant stop! Hope you have a good day in the ER!

I never both to paint my nails b/c they chip so quickly. Also I have really nice nails naturally, so I try to keep them that way by NOT painting them. I'm a huge fan of the nail buffer, though! :) Lifetime...it's about as sneaky as girl scout cookies...a weakness for women all around! haha!

I am so proud of myself, I have not touched 1 girl scout cookie this year! Even after seeing a recipe that has a thin mint in a cookie.. just wrong!

Bahaha your poor nails! I got my nails done 2 weeks ago, and they're still going strong, shockingly! Oh well, I'm in love with that picture of the puppies. They make my heart melt! :) Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aaaand that's why I don't paint my nails anymore. What's the point when they just chip within hours!? So frustrating. :(

Thank goodness for awesome hubbys who clean.
Enjoy your weekend, my dear.

What a cute pic!! I'm beginning to second guess my decision to stop doing fake nails. I've already broken 2 of my real ones & they get chipped the day after I polish them. So annoying!

The nail chipping driving me cray cray. I'm punishing mine as well...

Precious post. Especially the "y'all's." New Follower! :)

Awww they were so precious! We are puppy sitting for some of our friends this weekend and I realized that I have forgotten just how much work puppies are, haha! Oreo is all potty trained and well behaved now so I forget just how hard it was to get him to this point, haha!

That was 8 y'alls!! This northern loves it. I never get manicures because they chip by the time I get to the car and I hate waiting for them to dry. I hope your patients treat you well and you have a good weekend. Dear weather, please be nice this weekend as forecasted. This girl needs to stretch her legs!

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I ate an entire box of Samoa's! I don't think buying them again next year is a good idea haha!

my nails chip almost instantly after I paint them! I can barely go half a day. That's why I never pay for a manicure lol

I dislike when my nails chip right after I paint them; it is so incredibly annoying! Yay for your hubs cleaning the house! I love having a clean house that I didn't have to clean myself :o)

Go husband for cleaning the house! Does he offer "good husband" classes? If he can get my future hubby to do dishes I will pay generously!!! Lol!

And giiiiiiiiirl, I feel you on those girl scout cookies...evil little buggers they are. :)

I painted my nails Thursday, already chipped them yesterday. Grr!

When my fingernails chip it makes me so so angry! Have you ever had a gel manicure? Those don't chip, but they're $$ and a manicure at home is free. :) I can't believe your husband cleans the house--he's definitely a keeper! :)

I feel the same way about our furbabies. I miss when they were super small and cuddly but not training them!

I have more than plenty of stories about online dating!

Try going to the salon and getting shellac polish. It's a bit pricey (for me) but it lasts for almost 3 weeks without chipping, fading or peeling. Well worth the money!
