We had such a great Easter - full of worship, family and food. My parents drove in and we had a huge lunch at my aunt's house. There was literally so much food that everyone got their feelings hurt that the dishes they brought weren't completely gone. It's rare to have leftovers in our family!
My favorite part was dessert, as always. We had: brownies, strawberry cupcakes, strawberry shortcake, strawberry cake, divinity nut pie, banana pudding and my Oreo cake. And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head. Needless to say, my pants are pretty snug today.
I do have eyeballs in there...it was just so bright outside.
And of course Easter is never the same without an egg hunt.

Worship and family Easters are the best! We had a smaller gathering with just the immediate family, but still a good time.

awwww what a great Easter!! We have always done the typical big family dinner Easter but since I moved it was church in the morning and some pool action - very different but still a nice! Hope you have a great Monday lady!

Oooh I ate SO much over the weekend too :) I had a Dr. appt this morning and going in today I was like CRAP, why did I schedule this for the weekend after I pigged out?! I was nottt happy to see that number on their scale today lol

Mine was good! My hubby was off (he works every other week so normally it's no surprise when I have to tell my family he's not coming), so that was a total PLUS!
We cracked confetti eggs on one another, had a couple of pinatas, and just hung out. Lots of food.

Easter is such a great holiday. There's the religious aspect and that's of course the most important part but I love a good Easter basket too. Glad yours was a good one!

You're so cute! Seriously ... how do you do it? I spent most of Saturday and Sunday cooking since the fam came to our house ... it was busy, and I was nervous (it was our first holiday hosting at our house), but it was fun!

Glad you had a nice Easter. Surprisingly my husband and I ended up having the day off together, and we enjoyed our Easter dinner of grilled hot dogs at the park haha.

I am so jealous of all of those yummy sounding desserts! And of the fact that you had sunshine for Easter! Other than spending time with family, the best part of my Easter was coming home and finding our yard covered with eggs that our friends had hidden :o)
