I love my husband. Through and through. For so many reasons, but especially because he is a sweet country boy at heart. He likes "manly" things...hunting, fishing, camouflage, sports, animals, being outside. And I kinda think that that is how a man should be. Manly. Strong. Rugged. Rough and tough (with a soft side on the inside, of course).

And I know that it's definitely "to each her own" as far as how she prefers her man, but I sure am glad that he is mine. I just don't think I could deal with my man wearing tighter jeans than me. It just doesn't seem right...or comfortable...or even healthy (for certain parts).

My husband is a "real man" too, but not a hunting, fishing, outdoorsy type. Ken is definitely a Mr. Fix Anything - cars, house, computers ... he can do it all. and he's always such a "protector" too.

I love my manly man!!! I really thought I'd be more independent but I love having someone who takes care of things. Last night when I got pulled over the cop just said get your husband to change the light (that was out and got me pulled over) I love that.
p.s. I think our men have the same truck! Except Mike's is diesel.
haha, the tight jeans part made me laugh. But I totally agree with this post! Justin is JUST like my boyfriend Matt. Matt is 100% country, he loves to hunt, fish, and trap. And I love it! There isn't anything that he can't fix, he knows how to chop and split firewood, plant a garden, and do all of those rugged manly things! I don't think I could date any other type of guy :)

I dated a much more, sensitive guy for awhile and it was such a drag. he always wanted to talk about his feelings and I was like, can we just watch a hockey game?
(NOT judging other sensitive guys, I swear. This other guy was NOT for me in many other ways)
Even though sometimes I wish my bf would speak more about his feelings, I love dating a man's man.

So true! I have a country boy myself and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way. Even if he has chased me around the outside of the house with a skinned squirrel in his hand!! Gross. Its nice to know that he can handle the guy stuff…these days its seems the rugged boys are hard to come by…thats why I stick to my good ole country boy from West Virginia :)

Oh I love this post! It seems like so many girls have polished, business men type husbands/boyfriends....and then there's mine. And I love him to death for the way he is - because it's who I fell in love with.
My Boy loves camo, hunting, four-wheeling, sitting by the bonfire, and racing cars. I'd say he's pretty country :-) He's always in a t-shirt/hoodie and jeans(that are usually a little dirty from being in the shop under the car), but he knows how much I love getting dressed up once in a blue moon and he'll do it just for me.

I completely agree. I like my man to be rugged and manly and tough! These pictures so remind me of my husband. He would live in his camo if he could :) And it makes my heart smile!
I love being married to a gentle giant. He likes his manly sports but also gives one heck of a hug. And I don't think anyone should wear tight jeans. It is bad for my sensitive eyes.

My husband is kind of all over the place, haha! He is huge into playing sports (especially basketball), but he also likes fishing, loves being outdoors, enjoys lawn work, and getting his hands dirty. At the same time, he likes to dress nicely for work (he's an accountant) and church. However, he and I agree with you on the jeans thing. ;)
