So unfortunately for my poor husband, he is having to suffer through watching The Bachelorette with me each week. Normally I would probably get annoyed at his constant talking/making fun, but even I have to admit that this season has been a little bit...boring. So he makes it pretty fun.
I started taking notes of some of his comments during the show and I decided to share with y'all. If you don't watch the show, sorry, you won't get them. If you do, I hope you enjoy. I was crying I was laughing so hard.
"Way to make us all feel totally uncomfortable with that terrible kiss. Get out." - about Doug
"Are these guys really serious when they cry as they're leaving? They barely know her."
"Does he have on skinny jeans and pawpaw slip on shoes?" - about Jef
Emily: "Jef has fun with anything." Hubs: "Yeah, because he's twelve."
"What is so fascinating about walking into some dadgum library?"
"This is creeping me out. They aren't even looking at each other. They are talking with puppets."
"Oh look, there just happened to be a blanket in the library they stumbled upon."
"The things these guys say better be scripted. Or they are pathetic."
"Oh my gosh, you woman. Quit crying. He's got a quivering lip and everything." - about Chris at the rose ceremony
"Where are the men who don't cry?"
"Wow, that's a hideous dress." - about Emily's rose ceremony dress
"I'd punch him in the mouth right then for doing that." - about Chris asking to talk to Emily during the middle of the rose ceremony and then getting a rose
And that's just the ones that I remembered to take note of. The hubs is a hoot.

I don't even watch the Bachelorette, but I was definitely laughing at those comments...perfectly believable from any man watching any dating or reality show of that genre...
That's great! I don't make my husband watch, but one episode he sat down and watched abit with me. 10 minutes in he gets up and says "What am I doing with my life!" and walks out. Haha I think the same thing every week while I watch it, but I keep watching it anyways.

Oh my gosh, these cracked me up! Especially the library/blanket comment and where are the guys that don't cry? I don't watch the show, but I might if I was watching it with y'all! haha
Aren't husbands the best? My hubs does not like the Bachelor or Bachelorette so we don't watch them...oh well! So Emily's season is boring huh? Interesting!
This would be my husband too! He always says stuff when he finds me watching Dance Moms yet he gets caught in it too and actually sits to watch it, LOL.

haha that's some good commentary! I think some of the perceived boredom by some people about this season maybe just shows how serious emily is about this and not making a juicy show. idk!

Bahahaha!!!!! I love it!! I wish we could put the boys in a room together they would totally feed off each other. I agree I'm bored with this season. I only caught the end of last weeks episode, and good call on the dress Justin I agree!!

Lol...that's funny!!! This is the first season I've watched of the Bachelorette so I actually think it is pretty interesting, I love it! From almost the beginning, I predicted that it would end up being Arie or Jef and they are both still there!!
Haha...your husband is right about most of his comments especially the awkward kiss by Doug and about Jef being 12. So funny!
hahahahah! Those are great! My mom and I actually say very similar things -I mean, were they serious with those puppets?! And, there has to be some kinda rule about talking to her DURING the rose ceremony. C'mon! But, I still watch every Monday.

Bahah- I gotta agree- this season IS kinda' boring. I think Emily is absolutely gorgeous and sweetheart, but her personality seems to lack on these episodes!!
I also can't believe how much these guys cry. My hubby is always like, "Don't they have jobs and friends they have to face after this show?!" lol
Thank you for reminding me why I don't watch the bachelorette. I don't think I could handle it. I love watching it being made fun of on the soul though! I'm on your husband's side!

Haha...our family loves watching it together, too. My dad and brother have some funny lines.
These sounds a lot like my husband! haha He's out of town this week, and when I talked to him on Monday night, I go hey what are you doing, and he goes, Oh you know, definitely NOT watching The Bachelorette (sheepishly). He TOTALLY has been watching this season because of the places they are traveling to - Prague and Croatia are up on our list for vacation early next year!

So, I missed last week's episode, and I'll probably miss quite a few more this summer. I guess I could go to ABC dot com, or whatever... but I think you should do this kind of recap every week. :-D
