I love reading about beauty products on blogs. There's nothing I love more than trying a new product, but honestly I stick to drugstore brands/products, aka anything that I can get at Wal-Mart.
I wanted to share my top five can't live without/cry if I run out beauty products.
1) Neutrogena Makeup Wipes
I stinking adore these wipes and cannot go one single day without them. I have the full size ones at home and the travel pack in my suitcase. They take makeup off SO easily, even mascara.
2) Burt's Bees Lip Balm
Nothing beats this chapstick. It stays on and makes my lips feel so smooth and refreshed.
3) Pantene Detangler
There are three versions (silkening, conditioning and anti-breakage) and I really love all three. They make it easy to brush out my thick hair and smell absolutely amazing. I think Pantene products have the best smell.
4) Vaseline Lotion
I have super dry skin. I blame it on a) my dad and b) being a nurse. I wash my hands way too much every day and use hand sanitizer like crazy. That being said, this is one of the only lotions that really keeps my skin moisturized. If I skip it one day (especially on my hands), I notice right away.
5) Caress Body Wash
This scent...oh my. It smells absolutely amazing. I've made it no secret on this here blog that showering is not my favorite thing (don't judge), but I really do sometimes just want to shower to use this. It's that good.

I love the Caress Black Orchid and Juniper Oil...It smells so good! I must try the wipes! ASAP! :)
I can't live without Nivea "A Kiss of Smoothness" for my lips! I use it all the time and have like 4 containers of it!
oh meg i so agree with all of these :) I cant live without chapstick, the burtsbees kind! makes my life so much easier ha!
I like face wipes, too, but haven't found a certain kind I'm in love with so I will have to try those out. I cannot handle a multi-step face cleansing process. I don't understand how anyone is disciplined enough for that.
Target makes that body wash in their up&up brand so it is even cheaper!
I also want to try the detangler!
I love that you said you stick to drugstore brands - that is exactly what I do! I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money on something that is getting washed right down the drain. Have you tried Maybelline's new Baby Lips...love!
I second neutregena wipes but i have to say i have super dry skin too but i much much prefer oil of olay for lotion. I worked in a warehouse office last year & the guys would come steal it because it would last so long.
I am a Walmart/drugstore make-up kinda girl too. I love the face wipes and definitely can't go without Burt's bees!
hmmm might just have to try the Pantene Detangler. My hair is super thick and it looks like my daughters is going to be the same way :)
I just started using make up wipes about 3 months ago (I think my mom is overjoyed), and LOVE them. I use the Target knock off brand Neutrogena ones : )

I love almost all of the Caress Body Wash Scents...and it's fairly inexpensive! Score!
I am obsessed with Burts Bees!! If I leave home without it I panic!! Alba body lotion is amazing, i love that atuff. And the body wash-it smells like a jolly rancher!!
I use that body wash,, love it! And I love the Pantene Root-Uplifter! It really does to magic to my hair :) happy Monday, pretty! XO
LOVE those makeup remover wipes! they are the best ones i've found and i've tried several different kinds!
With those makeup wipes, do your eyes get raw feeling from rubbing them so much to take mascara off?? I'm curious.
i'm kinda with you on the showering thing. Its such a hassle but the moment I get in there I don't want to get out. Its the weirdest thing.
I use/love those face wipes too, they are sooo convenient, especially when traveling or when you're really busy. So easy to throw into a purse or bag!
My fave body wash right now is midnight pomegranate from Bath and Body works... YUMMMMMY!

I'm also a huge fan of those makeup wipes. I use them for my brushes as well!
Vaseline is good lotion!! I don't spend much no hair, but I do splurge more on makeup!

I completely agree. I love me some drugstore products! One for the price and because we live in podunk and the nearest mall/Target is over an hour away. So Walmart and drugstores FTW!

I could seriously spend hours in a Walgreens or CVS browsing all the beauty products...it's insane!! I love those neutrogena wipes! I've used the off-brands and they just don't work as well. And we are a caress body wash ONLY household. My husband is obsessed :)
LOVE these! i use makeup wipes daily -they are my nightly salvation! and burts bees is hands down the best chapstick ever! i love me some nars and any hawaiin tropic products!
I have that body wash. It smells amazing. I'm with you, it does improve my want to shower.
FINALLY a girl who likes Wal-Mart products too! I love Caress body wash. I've never tried that kind though. I can't wait to smell it! I love love love Nivea lip balm. I used to use chapstick constantly but Nivea is like silk on your lips.
I LOVE PANTENE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER!!!! It really does smell ah-mazing!!!! I'm going to have to check out the Caress body wash and those Neutrogena wipes too!

Great list. I might have to try the Caress body wash. I usually use whatever bar of soap is within reach with the occasional variation of borrowing my hubby's Old Spice body wash. I clearly need help incorporating "beauty product" into my showering. :-D
You need to try Birchbox! They send you samples each month of beauty products for $10. I got some awesome face cleansing products this month and I'm obsessed with the way they smell!
But you did post one thing I can't live without: Burt's Bees Chapstick!
I've never used a whole tube of any chapstick until Burt's Bees!
Favorite stuff is Dermologica face products! This all looks so great, though. Love burts. And I'm surprised hand sanitizer isn't on here ;) hehe
The altitude and dry climate here, dry me RIGHT out! I use the Vaseline lotion too. It's the best!

I use #1 and #5 daily. Have been for years! Both are awesome products :)
