I'm just going to go ahead and say this: I was not made to work a Monday-Friday job.
Five days in a row of work is just not my thing and I respect those who do it so much! This week was a 5-er, and granted three of those have been 12 hour shifts, but still...my butt is sufficiently kicked.
I'm off Saturday and I most likely will not wake up until 12 pm. And I can't wait.

One of my BFFs just found out the gender of her baby yesterday and they are having a reveal party tonight. It has been so fun being pregnant with my friend Kay. It's nice to have someone who knows exactly what you are going through! I'll be sharing pics on instagram (@mackeymadness).

Working M-F stinks sometimes, but I do love having the weekends open :) It's tough when you do 12 hour days, though!! Enjoy your time off, and yay for a car seat!!! xoxo

Husband has been working the last 8 of 9 days and MY butt is kicked. I asked him the othe day, 'do you realize how long a 12 hour shift is?!?!?!' He just looked at me and said, 'no, Lis. Tell me how long it is..' Hahahah!!! I'm just saying! Wih 2 kids at home, it's looong! :))) love youuuuu!

i don't comment frequently but i just have to say that you are stinkin' cute... i hope you take that as the compliment that it truly is! congratulations on your pregnancy... your post about the miscarriage was heartbreaking. oh, and the teacher that made a first grader *hold it* should be shamed! as for me, i tripped up the steps of my church while walking to the stage to sing... was about 12 and at my advanced age (44) i can still remember the details. happy relaxing weekend to you!

Oh yes the car seat! I was SOOO excited about that baby and wanted to put it in ASAP. I bet you'll be like me and even get excited when your baby is a toddler and you get a new carseat to fit him/her.
12 hour days would be no joke - I don't know how you do ONE, much less three or five!

Love the carseat! Did you get the whole travel system or just the seat? I wasn't made to work M-F either. ;) What are you doing working so much?! Anything above and beyond three 12's is cray-cray!!! Especially for a pregnant mama! ;)
I'm not cut out for Mon-Fri jobs either girl... and in my busy season (NOW!) I work much more than that. Today is actually day 12 in a row of work with me. Looking forward to a day off tomorrow, FINALLY! I need to get rich another way and be able to stay home ;)
Btw- LOVE that carseat. I love that it could be boy OR girl, super cute :)
What a sweet car seat! I think gender neutral is definitely the way to go - that way you can use it for Bunny's brothers and sisters! How exciting that you get to be pregnant with your friends. That is such a blessing.
love the colors on your baby carseat! I tried putting alex's baby car seat in the car before he was born and nick thought i was silly. lol!!! :-)
I officially despise working an 8-5 m-f job, myself! I hated it approximately 1 week after starting my new job! ;(

I worked M-F 8:30-5 before having the baby and can I just tell you how much I LOVE my new MTF schedule...having those 2 days off in the middle of the week are fabulous! Not to mention the fact I get to spend them with baby girl!

I kind of miss my mon-fri job...but I did work at a summer camp, so it was pretty awesome. Other than THAT job, I hated Mon-Fri work weeks.
I ADORE that car seat! and if we had a car I would totally have a car seat in it already! So, no judgement here!

Awww, you're so cute with the car seat. As for the reveal party, a friend of mine just did the cutest thing. She had the cake made the color of the sex of the baby & no one knew what it was until they cut into the cake. Super cute. And of course I haven't had a baby in a long time so maybe that's not new, but I thought it was really cute!

Last summer I was pregnant at the same time as a bunch of my friends too. It was a lot of fun! And now our babies are the same age too :)
Aw that's so fun to be pregnant at the same time as your friends. I'm crossing my fingers that works out for me someday. :) And I just read your embarrassing story and was laughing so hard. You are adorable.

How much fun. We were waiting it out to see if anyone bought us larger things like our carseat. Some family ended up giving us money and we went today and picked up our infant car seat. I was debating if I wanted to put it in my car yet. lol. Your is cute!

I slept till 12:00 today. No shame! :)
I would quite possibly die if I had to work 12 hr shifts. 8.5 hr shifts kill me already haha.

I'm sorry your 5-er week was rough. Congrats on your pregnancy tho! And it's so much fun having someone with whom to share the experience! One of my best friends Julie was 12 weeks ahead of me, and now our girls will be only 8 weeks apart! It really is a wonderful experience!
