Sometimes and Always #42

Sometimes: I have 5 days off in a row and I never want to go back to work.

Always: I could totally be a stay at home wife. I love taking care of my house and my hubby.

Sometimes: I think why oh why did I want dogs when I have to sweep every single day.

Always: Their cute faces make up for their shedding bodies. Mostly.

Sometimes: I watch House Hunters and am shocked at the high prices of houses in big cities.

Always: It makes me happy to live where we do.

Sometimes: I get a little obsessed with buying/looking at cute little baby girl things.

Always: I can't help it - baby girl stuff is SO adorable!

Sometimes: I have psycho crazy pregnant hormone meltdowns.

Always: My hubby lets me get it all out and then I feel better.

Sometimes: I think that people who love DIY stuff are crazy.

Always: I want to love it, but all the decisions stress me out. There's so many shades of one color!

This was our Labor Day.

I missed my calling to be a stay at home wife, but then Nathan pops my bubble and tells me I'll definitely be going to work for a long time...haha. He's such a dream killer ;).

bahaha...I swear I was at Target every other day finding THE "take home" outfit...then addie came out and just about everything we bought was too small :( little girl clothes are the best thing in the world. Have you gone through the washing it all and organizing it yet? nesting is great. :)

annd...seriously, if you want a laugh..go to babycenter.com and read some of the meltdown stories from other moms. Made me feel great about attempting to divorce my husband over custard filled donuts. :)

Haha I am right with ya girl...from the buying of so many clothes, right down to the meltdowns. Hubs spent the day painting the nursery too! If you could invest in a Roomba--it seriously helps so much. Worth every stinkin penny for the dog hair. I loathe the hair!! Happy Tuesday!!

Oh how I feel you on the dog shedding. It drives me INSANE. Sad to say, it is even more maddening when you have a baby in the mix that you don't want to have hair all over all the time. ;( We have already said that when Doug is gone, we will never have another indoor dog. Can't handle it. He does shed an insane amount though.

I totally wish I could be a stay at home wife! I think that all the time! Then my house would always be clean, the laundry always done and a meal waiting on my man when he got home. I could TOTALLY rock that ;)

I'll just DIY for you instead haha...so many cute girl clothes already!

I have to hand it to all DIY-ers..I'm not one of them at all. I'll paint, sure, but anything beyond that. No thank you.

I don't think anyone can fault you for going overboard on the girl's clothes. There's too many to choose from!! They're all so darn cute!

Whenever I clean the house I always have the same thoughts about my pets...but it never lasts long. I would never trade my furbabies for a clean house. Haha.

i always think the less you work, the less you want to work! certainly for me anyway!!

sometimes I almost think days off have the negative effect they're intended for. They make you dread going to work MORE instead of feeling refreashed, haha!

We spent our weekend painting, too! Luckily for me my husband paints for a living so I didn't have to do much :)

Are you painting the nursery? We did ours pink (we had a girl in May) with white/cream colored wainscoting. It's a very girly room but super cute none the less!! Good luck, and make sure not to breathe in too many paint fumes! :)

I think I would really like to be a stay-at-home wife/mother one day too. Although I would need a husband and kids first... lol

Awww little girl stuff IS so cute! And I know what you mean about cute faces making up for the amount of sweeping a pup requires, haha!

Totally agree with you on the DIY. I like small projects but big DIY home renovation projects freak me out. Also that baby closer is adorable!! :)
