Sweet Baby Bump - 22 Weeks

The highlights:

- Finally felt baby girl move this week!! It happened on Monday at work, which just so happened to be a super crazy day where I didn't get to eat lunch until about 2 pm. Right after I ate, I felt a few little flips and flutters. It was like she saying, "Thanks, mom. I've been starving."

- Loving all things edible right now. My appetite is fierce.

- We are heading to Ikea tomorrow to pick up a few things for the nursery.

- It's our first time ever going to Ikea. I cannot wait. Any tips?

- The hubs has been totally amazing lately, dealing with my crazy hormone mood swings and my perfectionist behavior all at once as we try to prepare for a baby AND sell our house.

- It's all starting to really feel real...there's a baby on the way! 4 months to go!

And just because I love a comparison...12 weeks versus 22 weeks.

you and little Baby E look adorable! I can't wait to see her! My advice for Ikea - give yourself a budget and track what you're putting in your cart. Everything is so cheap that you're just throwing things into the cart and at the end you're like "Whoa!" Happens to me every time ...

Ikea is so much fun when you actually have something to shop for! When you don't you just spend money you don't need to spend. You will have a great time!

You look beautiful!!! Feeling those first little kicks is the most amazing moment!

Congratulations!! You look amazing! I can't believe you've never been to Ikea!! We used to go there when where at uni just for an outing lol!My Ikea tips: make an afternoon/evening of it, lunch or dinner before and an ice cream after. Play pretend house, your hubs will probs walk off but this is your chance to pretend you live in a chic Manhattan apt or a Norwegian wood shed!
Annnd pick up a yellow bag and let the hubs push the trolley this way you can throw odd bits in the bag and wander off without worrying about a trolley that has a mind of its own!! Have fun!! xx

You look so good, Megan! I love the belly! As for IKEA... Prepare for craziness. At least that's how ours is! And try not to get overwhelmed, because you're pretty much going to want to buy EVERYTHING. Have fun and I hope you guys find what you're looking for! :) :)

You look great as always!! :)

I love IKEA! Take your time and make sure to write down the location of anything you even think you might want to pick up (the location is on the tag attached to the item). And make sure to grab a map! And...get food at the cafe before you leave! :)

That's such a cute story and is so sweet girl! So glad you felt her :)

Ikea is crazy girl! You will love it and probably get overwhelmed. Go there with a list- and know what you absolutely need. The website doesn't cover even a 1/4 of what the actual store has, so just be prepared with types of things you want/need. The only thing you'll need to know/do is to write down the bin and aisle # down of each item you see in the store. IF you forget one, don't worry, there's computers in the warehouse. And then...Have fun building :)
Y'all have so much fun!!

I am dying to go to Ikea but the closest one to me is near Chicago. Only tips I know of is take a big car and it will take you a few hours to get through the entire store. Have fun!

You are just adorable!!! Tips for IKEA: get ready to be worn out when you're done. My husband and I went to just pick up an outdoor dining set and we were exhausted when we got done. It's huge and there's lots of walking so grab a map of the place as you enter. Just have some patience ready in case your trip to the store takes awhile. And try to go earlier rather than later :)

Ikea tips? Just take deep breaths and try and focus on what's right in front of you, ha!
