I have my first baby shower this weekend and it's at my grandma's house. To say that she is excited would be an understatement. She is way beyond excited. She asked me if she could go ahead and decorate for Christmas at her house for the shower. My grandma loves Christmas and she likes to go all out with the decorating. I told her yes, of course, because I love Christmas.
We went over there about a week ago to see if she needed any help and apparently we were a little bit too late. It looks like Santa's workshop exploded in her house. There is no space untouched. It looks absolutely amazing and even better than what she normally does.
My 80+ year old grandma did almost all of that herself.
She is a Christmas decorating beast.

80?? OMG I'm tired just looking at it & I'm only 39!! HA! I'm going to start my decorating this weekend. Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year!
Everything was GORGEOUS... and then I laughed out loud with the picture of outside -- green grass, no one in coats. Even the parts of the valley out here without snow is brown and barren... very different imagines to go with Christmas decorations.
And I was so distracted by the lack of snow that I forgot to wish you a VERY HAPPY and JOYFUL shower! How exciting!!! :-D
I hope to be JUST like that some day. Go Grandma!
